Wine routes in Valle de Guadalupe: how to plan your visit

Valle de Guadalupe is Mexico's leading wine region. Touring its wine routes is about slowing down, eating well and letting the day be measured in sunsets.

When to visit the Valley

Each season has its charm; weekdays are always quieter.

The Valley is lovely year-round. Summer brings the harvest and the most festive mood; spring turns the vineyards green; and autumn and winter offer quiet days, perfect for an unhurried getaway.

How to organise your wine route

Book your tastings ahead, plan a few, well-spaced stops —better to enjoy three fully than rush through six— and leave time to eat without watching the clock.

If you are tasting, bring a designated driver or rely on local transfers. Most important: don't overfill the agenda — the Valley is best savoured slowly.
