Some news feels like sunrise over the vineyard: it arrives slowly and lights up everything. With great joy we share that Contemplación Resort & Spa has been selected in the MICHELIN Guide 2026, joining for the first time the Valle de Guadalupe hotels recognised by the prestigious Guide.
This recognition arrives at a very special moment: just as we celebrate our 7th anniversary. What began as a dream on the hills of the Valley is today a retreat made for slowing down, where architecture frames the vineyard, native landscapes invite calm, and every detail exists for one thing: to create magical, memorable experiences.

Unlike what many imagine, the MICHELIN Guide hotel selection cannot be requested or paid for. It is defined by anonymous, independent inspectors who travel each destination quietly, with a universal methodology. They value whether the hotel is a gateway to its destination, its design and architecture, the consistency of its service, the coherence between the experience and its price and, above all, its authenticity. That is why this recognition moves us so deeply: it celebrates the very essence of who we are.
Joining the MICHELIN Guide adds to a path built with care. In 2024 we received Tripadvisor's “Best of the Best”, ranking #1 in Mexico and #19 in the world in the Small & Boutique category. Our restaurant Salvia Blanca holds six consecutive years of Travelers' Choice as the second best in Valle de Guadalupe, with a cuisine born from our own vineyard and house wines. To this we add the rituals of Samsara Spa and a cause we carry in our hearts: La Manada Feliz, our canine sanctuary that is now home to more than 120 rescued dogs.
This achievement belongs to the whole team, to our community, and to every guest who has made the Valley their place to return to. We will keep caring for what brought us here: calm, hospitality, and respect for this land that inspires everything.
